PLEASE JOIN US IN CELEBRATING THE ENGLISH-SPEAKING UNION’S CENTENARY!
Today marks 100 years of the ESU
On this day 100 years ago Sir Evelyn Wrench founded the English-Speaking Union with the aim of international fellowship and, ultimately, peace. Today this aim is still very much alive as we work to foster better communication, understanding and global exchange between people around the world.
We wish to thank you for being part of this movement and for supporting
our work to equip young people with the oracy skills and confidence
they need to change their lives and communities for the better over
the next 100 years and beyond.
Our Patron, Her Majesty The Queen, sends this message to you all:
I send my best wishes to all concerned for a most memorable and successful year marking this notable anniversary in the history of the English-Speaking Union.
